Wellbeing Advisor

The Role

Make a meaningful impact on staff and faculty wellbeing

London Business School (LBS) is seeking a knowledgeable and empathetic Wellbeing Advisor to join our centralised Wellbeing Centre of Excellence. This role plays a vital part in supporting the wellbeing of staff and faculty by providing expert advice, triage and signposting on a wide range of wellbeing matters.

As a Wellbeing Advisor, you will provide specialist advice, triage and signposting in relation to staff and faculty wellbeing concerns. You will help clarify issues, assess risk, advise on appropriate pathways and coordinate referrals or escalation where required.

This is a non‑clinical role focused on guidance and coordination rather than therapeutic intervention or employment decision‑making.

Business Operations & Services (BOS) provides cross‑School services that enable effective operations and sustainable growth. BOS brings together scale‑critical and risk‑bearing functions, ensuring consistent, reliable and high‑quality service delivery across the School.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, accurate and proportionate wellbeing advice to staff and managers
  • Triage wellbeing concerns and assess appropriate internal or external support pathways
  • Advise on wellbeing related policies, processes and available services
  • Support matters relating to mental health, disability and reasonable adjustments
  • Coordinate referrals and escalation in line with safeguarding and governance frameworks
  • Ensure consistent, compliant and well governed wellbeing practice
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality, tact and professional boundaries
  • Contribute to service improvement through insight, analysis and collaboration

Who we are looking for

  • Relevant experience in workplace wellbeing, mental health, disability support, HR advisory or a related environment
  • Strong knowledge of the Equality Act 2010 and workplace reasonable adjustments
  • Sound judgement and the ability to assess risk within defined parameters
  • Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A commitment to inclusive practice and continuous professional development
