The Role

This is a rare opportunity to influence big decisions, drive high‑profile strategic projects, and help shape how London Business School competes on the global stage.

We are looking for a Senior Manager to play a central, School‑wide role shaping and delivering our strategic projects, rankings and awards strategy. Working within the Strategy & Planning team, you will provide high‑quality analysis, insight and project leadership to support senior decision‑making, strengthen our global reputation, and ensure alignment with the School’s long‑term strategic ambitions.

This is a high‑impact role for a confident, analytical leader who enjoys working across functions and with senior stakeholders. You will lead complex projects, translate data into clear strategic insight, and build strong internal and external relationships to drive continuous improvement across planning, performance and rankings activity.

Main Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality specialist service, rigorous research, and accurate, data-driven analysis to inform School strategy and decision-making. 
• Provide trusted School-wide metrics, dashboards, and benchmarking that improve data quality, consistency, audit-readiness, and reduce duplication. 
• Lead and manage projects effectively — ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to agreed standards, including third-party oversight. 
• Ensure regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and strong governance. 
• Strengthen stakeholder relationships, communication, documentation, data literacy, and continuous process improvement. 
• Successful support of School-level planning cycles, reviews or strategic initiatives through timely and relevant analysis. 

Who we are looking for

• Ability to prioritise and focus on material issues.  
• Experience of leading projects.  
• Experience with survey software desirable. 
• Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail. 
• Experience working in a higher education or similarly complex, regulated organisational environment. 
• Experience supporting senior leadership decision-making through data, insight and scenario analysis. 
• Ability to work with ambiguous or incomplete data and develop pragmatic, defensible analytical solutions. 
• Experience defining data standards, metrics and governance frameworks across multiple teams or systems.

All roles require a minimum of two days on campus each week to foster a vibrant, collaborative community.

For this role specifically, you will be expected to be on campus at least 2 days per week with the need for flexibility based on business needs.

We operate with ‘core hours’ – 10:00-15:00 – to maximise opportunities for connection and collaboration across teams during the working day. Outside of these hours, you may still be required for meetings or collaboration based on your role and customer needs. Additionally, we offer Protected Time - a flexible, one-hour slot, within the working week dedicated to your learning and development, wellbeing, or focused, quiet work
