Alumni Project Manager
The Role
Deliver high‑impact alumni engagement at a world‑leading business school
London Business School is seeking an experienced Alumni Project Manager to play a key role in planning, coordinating and delivering a portfolio of flagship alumni engagement projects and events. Working within the Alumni Engagement team in Advancement, this role supports meaningful, life‑long relationships between the School and its global alumni community.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong project manager who enjoys working with diverse stakeholders, delivering high‑quality events and initiatives, and contributing to engagement strategies that strengthen advocacy, participation and connection to the School.
You will manage and deliver a range of alumni engagement projects, from large‑scale flagship events such as Reunion and Reunion for New Alumni, to ad‑hoc initiatives including surveys and engagement pilots. You will work collaboratively across Advancement and the wider School to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and deliver a portfolio of alumni engagement projects and events, varying in scale and complexity.
- Contribute to the development of engagement plans, providing insight to support effective planning and delivery.
- Act as an ambassador for London Business School, representing the School at events and engagement activities as required.
- Manage project timelines, budgets and resources, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives, quality standards and KPIs.
- Track and review financial activity and event spend, ensuring accurate reporting and cost effective delivery.
- Conduct evaluation and analysis to inform continuous improvement of events and initiatives.
- Produce reports and insights to support review, planning and decision making.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across Advancement and other School departments to enable integrated engagement activity.
- Support change initiatives by role modelling positive behaviours and embedding improvements in ways of working.
- Build and maintain strong knowledge of LBS programmes, offerings and differentiators to support effective engagement.
Who we are looking for
- Proven project management experience, ideally within engagement, events or customer focused environments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working across internal and external audiences.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Confidence managing budgets, tracking spend and supporting financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and report insights.
- Experience using software and systems to manage, analyse and report on information.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- Interest in business education, thought leadership and global professional communities.

At London Business School, we support Smart Working - a hybrid approach designed to help you achieve a healthy work-life balance while delivering the best outcomes for your role and the needs of our customers. All roles require a minimum of two days on campus each week to foster a vibrant, collaborative community.
For this role specifically, you will be expected to be on campus 2 days per week.
We operate with ‘core hours’ – 10:00-15:00 – to maximise opportunities for connection and collaboration across teams during the working day. Outside of these hours, you may still be required for meetings or collaboration based on your role and customer needs. Additionally, we offer Protected Time - a flexible, one-hour slot, within the working week dedicated to your learning and development, wellbeing, or focused, quiet work
