Alumni Communications Manager

The Role

Shape communications that engage a global alumni community

London Business School is seeking an experienced and audience‑focused Alumni Communications Manager to support the delivery of integrated communications campaigns that strengthen engagement with our global alumni community.

This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional with strong digital and campaign experience to help deliver compelling, data‑driven communications across multiple channels including email, web, social media and digital platforms.

Working within the Advancement team, you will play a key role in supporting alumni engagement strategies and fundraising priorities, helping to connect alumni with the School’s community, activities and long‑term vision.

You will support the delivery of Advancement’s communications strategy through integrated, audience‑led campaigns and communications activity.

You will develop and deliver engaging content and communications across a range of platforms and channels, helping ensure communications are targeted, effective and aligned to engagement objectives.

The role requires strong collaboration across teams, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and optimise integrated communications and marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Create engaging alumni communications across email, web, social media, MyLBS and related digital platforms.
  • Support audience segmentation, targeting and campaign performance analysis.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Advancement and Brand & Marketing to deliver high quality communications activity.
  • Contribute to the delivery of communications that support alumni engagement and fundraising priorities.
  • Manage multiple projects and campaign timelines effectively.
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness and support continuous improvement through testing and optimisation.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across the School.

Who we are looking for

  • Proven experience delivering integrated communications or marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using email marketing platforms and digital communications tools.
  • Understanding of audience segmentation, targeting and campaign performance tracking.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to delivery.

At London Business School, we support Smart Working - a hybrid approach designed to help you achieve a healthy work-life balance while delivering the best outcomes for your role and the needs of our customers. All roles require a minimum of two days on campus each week to foster a vibrant, collaborative community.

For this role specifically, you will be expected to be on campus 2 days per week.

We operate with ‘core hours’ – 10:00-15:00 – to maximise opportunities for connection and collaboration across teams during the working day. Outside of these hours, you may still be required for meetings or collaboration based on your role and customer needs. Additionally, we offer Protected Time - a flexible, one-hour slot, within the working week dedicated to your learning and development, wellbeing, or focused, quiet work
