Senior Treasury Officer
The Role
Lead high-quality treasury and income operations in a world-class institution
London Business School are looking for an experienced Senior Treasury Officer to provide leadership, oversight and expert guidance across treasury, gift processing and restricted fund activities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with strong operational expertise, excellent stakeholder skills and a keen eye for detail to play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial operations.
You will provide leadership, oversight and expert guidance across all Treasury, Gift Processing and Restricted Fund activities, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial operations.
You will manage the Treasury function, support the delivery of high-quality donor income processing, and act as the senior escalation point for both internal and external stakeholders. This role is central to maintaining strong control, excellent customer service and effective collaboration across Finance and wider School teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee treasury operations across the School.
- Support gift processing and restricted fund activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Act as the senior escalation point for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage donor income processing to a high standard.
- Ensure effective financial controls across treasury and related processes.
- Support reconciliations, double-entry bookkeeping, income posting and cashflow monitoring.
- Resolve allocation discrepancies and ensure accurate sales ledger allocations.
- Work closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider School to maintain effective processes and service delivery.
- Support continuous improvement and help strengthen operational efficiency.
Who we are looking for
- A vocational or professional qualification relevant to finance, income management or database administration may be held.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior staff and external partners.
- Sound working knowledge of standard IT packages, finance systems and databases.
- Experience using specialist financial and/or donor management software relevant to the role, such as TechnologyOne, Raiser’s Edge, Stripe dashboards, banking portals
- Proactive approach to developing effective working relationships across Finance and the wider School.
- High level of attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy.
- Effective time-management skills, with the ability to organise, plan and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong team-working skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Ability to interpret, apply and explain financial guidelines, processes and controls.
- Experience of standard financial processes, including reconciliations, double-entry bookkeeping, income posting, cashflow monitoring
- Experience of sales ledger allocations and resolving allocation discrepancies.

For this role specifically, you will be expected to be on campus 2 days per week.

Outside of these hours, you may still be required for meetings or collaboration based on your role and customer needs.
