Could you take lead of the efficient running of a world-leading institution?
As Financial Controller, you’ll play a vital role within our Accounts team, providing a full financial service that helps us to achieve key objectives in our medium- and long-term plans. You’ll be responsible for the transaction processing services – having a major impact on the day-to-day running of the School. Your responsibilities will include handling internal audits for the department and maintaining a strong internal control environment, overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Treasury, monitoring and maximising the efficiency of transactional teams. With this extensive view of our financial infrastructure, you’ll be an ambassador for change, identifying and resolving areas of development and improvement for the financial processes.
Main Responsibilities
• Lead your division’s contribution towards achieving our business vision
• Transform the financial processes and upgrade/replace the finance systems
• Create, embed, monitor and review policies and procedures to ensure full compliance and quality processes.
• Maintain a strong relationship with the internal auditors and stakeholders across the School.
• Be a champion for change and a role model within our diverse department.

Who we are looking for
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified professionals with 5 years PQE.
• Experience in leading and implementing complex business change solutions
• Excellent business partnering and internal governance experience.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• An ability to negotiate, collaborate and influence key stakeholders.
• Demonstrable credibility and a network of contacts within your field.
• Expertise in legislation, policies, tools and systems relating to finance.
• Proven financial management skills and commercial acumen.
• Broad understanding of London Business School’s activities and offerings.
