Executive Assistant
The Role
London Business School are thrilled to be looking for an organised and collaborative Executive Assistant to support the Associate Dean of Degree Education on a fixed-term basis. You will be the key right hand manager, supporting them in their work of advancing London Business School’s ambition.
This demanding role requires the establishment of excellent working relationships with the Associate Dean, the senior leadership teams, high level internal and external stakeholders and important school influencers to help fulfil their objectives.
This role will require juggling multiple projects with complex stakeholders that cross both the Associate Dean’s office, to move forward with multiple initiatives in a fast paced environment where communication, accuracy, and thinking on ones feet are critical.
Please note this is a fixed-term contract until May 2026.
Main Responsibilities
- Be a robust gatekeeper and pro-active manager of the Associate Dean’s (AD) time, correspondence and travel.
- Accurate and effective diary and email management; using judgment to manage and prioritise their schedule ensuring important conflicts or issues are flagged.
- Project management lead or participation in key events including high visibility events. Preparing project plans and agreeing responsibility with the AD at the outset. All aspects of planning and execution will be well organised with wide input from across team and across key areas of the School.
- Providing team day-to-day operations support (e.g. onboarding, team meetings, away days, and other Degree Education wide events).
- Responsible for minute taking, event planning inclusive of town halls, sending email comms, booking travel, and other ad hoc tasks such as booking lunches and ordering catering.
Who we are looking for
- Experience of supporting senior executives required, adapting to their ways of working.
- Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven strong organisational skills.
- A clear communicator who excels at relationship management.
- Strong project planning and management skills with experience of leading and managing multiple projects at once.
- Experience with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word to an advanced level.
- Proven ability to appropriately deal with confidential information.
- Experience in higher education or corporate environment (preferred).
