Wellbeing Services Manager

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact and tangible difference to the lives and wellbeing of our students. Work across to school to coordinate and signpost services so students can understand and access any required support. Ensure every student at LBS is in a position to achieve their full potential and feel supported in doing so.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver services to provide specialist, professional support
  • Oversee holistic mentoring support for disabled students
  • Define user-focussed processes to coordinate multiple departments’ services
  • Support the development and delivery of an exceptional Wellbeing Service
  • Develop processes to deliver compliant services and effective data management
  • Help manage third-party suppliers including effective online support for students
  • Be a responsible manager who collaborates with staff and is visible to students
  • Act as role model for change and be proactive in identifying and delivering improvements

Who we are looking for

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree or equivalent experience 
  • Experience supporting individuals with disabilities and Specific Learning Difficulties, ideally within higher education
  • Experience working in wellbeing and managing disability services
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
  • Creative, solution-focused mind-set and dedication to best practice student-centred delivery
  • Thorough understanding of relevant legislative and funding frameworks
