Senior Business Analyst
The Role
London Business School are excited to be recruiting for an agile and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join Technology on a FTC basis until July 2027.
Working as part of the Aware to Admit Project Delivery Team, this role is responsible for translating high level design or business requirements into detail specifications and then supporting these specifications as Software Developers, Testers and Application Support team members use them to support the implementation and operation. Where appropriate, maintain and take full ownership of Application and Data Design catalogues, including Services and Interfaces.
Supporting design and implementation phase, and successful delivery and rollout of Salesforce solution working closely with business stakeholders to define objectives. Preparing documentation making clear recommendations to enable strategic decisions. Working with agile delivery team and being experienced in agile delivery, you will be the bridge between the business and the development team.
Please note this is a fixed-term contract until July 2027.
Main Responsibilities
- Apply specialist Business Analyst expertise and technical knowledge to define processes, escalating queries or tasks if outside own technical knowledge.
- Respond to requests from all stakeholders, providing specialist advice to deliver the information they require and provide an excellent service.
- Design and develop documentation and policy guidance, for use in the provision of an efficient and effective business support service.
- Partner with Aware to Admit project team to understand their business goals and provide them with professional or technical advice, sharing expertise and information to support effective decision making.
- Extract data from multiple sources, check its integrity and produce reports for use by management.
- Work closely with Product Owner, Project Manager, Scrum Master and development team to prioritise backlog items.
- Develop and enhance relationships with stakeholders across the School to facilitate improved communication, support implementation of change programmes, and to monitor the level of satisfaction with service delivery.
Who we are looking for
- Collaborative team player with excellent organisation and clear communication skills.
- Senior BA/PO experience with a strong attention to detail.
- Transformation experience working in agile, with strong stakeholder management skills.
- UAT implement salesforce.
- Ability to own tasks and escalate appropriately.
- Experience using UML, experience in BPMN desirable.
- Understanding of domain architectures (Business, Application, Data, Technology).
- Awareness of current trends in technology (e.g Acloud).
- A professional manner and ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and third parties.
- Interest in Application or Enterprise Architecture

For this role specifically, you will be expected to be on campus around 2 days per week with the need for flexibility based on business and project need.

Outside of these hours, you may still be required for meetings or collaboration based on your role and customer needs.
