Sales Consultant, LBS Online

The Role

London Business School are looking for a Sales Consultant to join our Digital Learning team, to meet and exceed sales targets for our LBS Online portfolio.

Your main responsibility will be to use your knowledge of the LBS online courses and industry expertise to match individuals to appropriate courses. You'll achieve this by owning your own portfolio, driving the sales process particularly by focusing on consultation calls with prospective candidates.

Main Responsibilities

  • Driving the sales process focusing on consultation calls with prospective candidates with the aim to convert to admits onto LBS Online courses. Key deliverable with associated KPI conversion target.
  • Developing and managing the sales pipeline by:
    • Converting enquiries into confirmed participants on the courses
    • Consultative phone calls, email, and online meetings with prospective participants
    • Attending school and industry events to meet prospective delegates, gauge interest and promote courses.
  • Coordinating with the Delivery Programme Manager (DPMs) for onboarding and course delivery procedures. 
  • Collaborating with the Credit Control team to maintain accurate payment records. 

Who we are looking for

  • Excellent customer service skills.  
  • Experience of working in a customer facing environment.  
  • Proven track record of delivering against Key Performance Indicators or metrics.  
  • Good communication skills and the ability to address a variety of stakeholders.  
  • Sound working knowledge of standard IT packages, systems and/or databases.  
  • Experience of software related to own area of specialism.  
  • Proactive approach to relationship development with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Good attention to detail.

For this role specifically, you will be expected to be on campus 2 days per week, typically Tuesday and a Thursday on the teams core anchor days.

We operate with ‘core hours’ – 10:00-15:00 – to maximise opportunities for connection and collaboration across teams during the working day. Outside of these hours, you may still be required for meetings or collaboration based on your role and customer needs. Additionally, we offer Protected Time - a flexible, one-hour slot, within the working week dedicated to your learning and development, wellbeing, or focused, quiet work
