Project Administrator

The Role

Do you have what it takes to be a core member of our IT Delivery Assurance team? 

We are looking for someone to play a pivotal role within the busy IT Delivery Assurance team; providing support to the Head of Delivery Assurance, all team members and the portfolio of projects they manage.   

Are you keen to learn from others as a member of an experienced project management office?

In addition to administrative duties, the role will provide you with many opportunities to learn and develop your skills across a range of project management disciplines. You will be working alongside the experienced Project Managers, who are delivering our projects, and also supporting our Delivery Lead and PMO Analyst in maintaining and updating our project office records.

Main Responsibilities

  • Keep financial data up to date and ensure it is accurate.
  • Maintain project portfolio logs; produce weekly and monthly progress reports
  • Provide general administrative support to the project managers e.g. booking meetings and taking minutes
  • Process project and stage gate approval documents for the PMO
  • Manage the archiving of all project artefacts

Who we are looking for

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Further education or equivalent qualification– potentially with a vocational qualification in a project management related subject
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office products with a high proficiency in MS Excel.
  • May also be able to use MS Visio and MS Project although this is not essential
  • Prior experience in a PMO or project environment with an understanding of project structures and budgeting would be advantageous but not essential
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good time management skills with the ability to organise and prioritise
  • Good team working skills and the ability to work collaboratively
