Office Administrator
The Role
Are you detail-oriented and do you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment?
This role is a 1-year FTC supporting the Executive Assistant to the Dean who has primary responsibility for the Dean’s diary and travel arrangements, events, internal and external communications and for the preparation of speech outlines and briefings. You will also be responsible for aiding the School Secretary in their role as Secretary of the Governing Body, for administrative duties relating to Health and Safety and for operational support to the Dean’s Office.
Main Responsibilities
- Provision of support for the Executive Assistant to the Dean.
- Carrying out meeting logistics including booking rooms, organising catering and AV support and checking room set up before meetings.
- Providing administration support to the School Secretary in the development of Governing Body meeting agendas and papers.
- Assisting the School Secretary with diary and meeting organisation as required.
- Developing knowledge and management of the Dean’s diary and Dean’s preferences.
- Collaborating with other departments across the School to enable cross department working, to drive consistency of approach/standards through the wider School, thereby enabling effective service delivery.

- A sound working knowledge of standard IT packages, systems and/or databases.
