The Role
We’re looking for a motivated, well-organized, and intellectually curious individual with a social-science background to take on this challenging and rewarding Lab Assistant role in our London-based Research Lab. With its team of international scholars, the Research Lab conducts cutting-edge social-science research on psychology, management, marketing, and related topics. Lab Assistants support London Business School faculty and students in all aspects of the research process. The role is thus a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with social-science research.
Main Responsibilities

Lab assistants will:
- Run behavioural studies in the lab, online, and in the field
- Help researchers (LBS faculty and students) develop research protocols and test study materials
- Recruit research participants
- Process and code data from research studies
- Assist our Research Ethics Committee in processing and reviewing applications to run studies with human participants
Who we are looking for
Who We Are Looking For
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A first degree in psychology or other social science, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and, ideally, specialised experimental software (e.g., Qualtrics).
- Self-motivation, initiative, a proactive approach, and the ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Good time-management skills and an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good “people skills”
We particularly welcome applicants who wish to pursue a graduate degree in psychology, business, or other social sciences in the future.
