HR Information Systems Manager

The Role

This role is a maternity cover for up to 12 months.

Due to COVID-19, we are adhering to government guidelines and socially distancing. As a result, until appropriate measures are in place, you can perform this role remotely.

Can you keep our People systems going? 

Join our People team as an HR Information Systems Manager. Be our expert and help us with our systems strategy and development priorities.

Can you make sure we are developing and improving processes?

Collaborate with our IT team to build a roadmap that enhances our future and our team effectiveness. Support our system users with training and up-to-date information. Use your experience and expertise to project manage all of our system changes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to strategy development for our People systems and data
  • Partner with our People Team and our Research and Faculty Office, sharing your expertise, to help them make the best business decisions
  • Lead on projects that improve our processes using systems such as iTrent
  • Build and manage relationships with our external suppliers to ensure they meet service level agreements and remain cost efficient
  • Work with our People Analyst to prepare complex reports for reviews, planning and decision-making
  • Advise our team on policies and procedures that keep our People systems and data compliant

Who we are looking for

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working on the implementation of an HR information system from beginning to end
  • Significant experience working with iTrent
  • Excellent process re-engineering and improvement skills
  • Proven experience leading projects with lean project management skills
  • Excellent ability to communicate complex technical information in layman’s terms
  • Ability to manage a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
