Fundraising Business Analyst
The Role
Are you good with finances?
We are looking for a Fundraising Business Analyst to join the Finance team on a 12 month FTC. In your role you will manage the School’s Donation funds. You will resolve any queries related to the funds, monitor the funds and produce monthly reports.
Main Responsibilities
- Calculate and allocate dividend income and fund revaluations
- Monitor fund balances, ensuring that restricted funds are correctly allocated, and funds released on a timely basis in line with donor agreements
- Produce and distribute monthly reports for the funds and the Advancement department
- Assist the Head of Research and Fundraising with quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting and year end closure for the Advancement department
- Manage the fund year-end closure including providing information for the external auditors
- Design and develop materials and policy guidance, with supervision from more senior colleagues, for use in the provision of an efficient and effective business support service.
- Provide training to colleagues or stakeholders on an area of specialism to upskill and educate others in the business support services provided.
Who we are looking for
- May be working towards relevant professional qualification
- Strong Business Analysis experience
- Accounts receivable and Accounts payable experience
- Good communication skills and the ability to break down technical issues and explain them in layman’s terms.
- Good Excel skills
- Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
