Associate Director, Visa Compliance and Financial Aid Support

The Role

Are you a Visa and Immigration Specialist?

Join our Visa and Financial Aid team who provide students from around the world with the support they need to meet their visa requirements. Ensure the school is compliant with UK Immigration regulations and provide advice and support to our students, admits, and recent alumni on visa and financial aid matters.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure the School is compliant with all aspects of immigration regulations and financial aid regulations with respect to degree programme students.
  • Lead on providing high-quality immigration and financial aid advice to students throughout the student lifecycle  
  • Collaborate with our Recruitment and Admissions, Accounts, Programme Offices, and Career Centre teams
  • Manage and develop the School’s relationships with our external financial aid and visa partners
  • Manage a team of four

Who we are looking for

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Subject matter expert in immigration legislation, policies, tools and systems with particular focus on student visas
  • Excellent communicating and influencing skills, with the ability to negotiate, collaborate and influence.
  • Demonstrable credibility and a network of contacts in the area of immigration.
  • Project or change management experience and the ability to lead and implement complex business change solutions.
  • Proven financial management skills and commercial acumen.
  • Professional qualification (eg. OISC) is desirable
