The Role
London Business are looking for an Associate Director, Alumni Careers to join our Careers Centre. You will lead the Alumni Careers function, shaping strategy and delivering a high-quality careers experience for a global alumni community. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and faculty to design and oversee a portfolio of coaching, professional development, and networking opportunities, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience aligned with the School’s commitment to lifelong learning .
You will use data, market insight, and innovation to enhance programme quality and drive engagement. By building strong partnerships and contributing at a senior level, you will play a key role in strengthening alumni success and reinforcing the School’s global reputation.
Main Responsibilities
Well-defined, clearly communicated and executed strategies and/or plans for area of work
Build strong reputation of Alumni Career Centre, both across the
School and externally, which supports the School’s broader brand building initiatives
Successful learning interventions and coaching programmes, achieving Key Performance Indicators
Robust learning experience assessment processes in place
Contribution to continuous improvement in School rankings
Contribution to the development and delivery of market leading learning initiatives, potentially with revenue attached
Excellent alumni, colleague and stakeholder feedback
Team feedback on clarity of purpose and focus, behavioural and performance expectations, guidance and development standards
Contribution to Career Centre Leadership Team effectiveness
Who We Are Looking For
Deep knowledge of learning and design/delivery principles, theory and practice, including digital innovation
Demonstrable credibility built through extensive awareness of the post business school employment market and the needs of business leaders their typical motivations and the challenges they face as they develop their careers
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to negotiate and collaborate
Experience of managing multiple key internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Proven leadership and team management experience
Ability to scan the horizon, identify industry best practice and translate this into future planning
Confidence making and presenting data-driven decisions
Financial management skills and commercial acumen

At London Business School, we support Smart Working - a hybrid approach designed to help you achieve a healthy work-life balance while delivering the best outcomes for your role and the needs of our customers. All roles require a minimum of two days on campus each week to foster a vibrant, collaborative community.
For this role specifically, you will be expected to be on campus 2 days per week.
We operate with ‘core hours’ – 10:00-15:00 – to maximise opportunities for connection and collaboration across teams during the working day. Outside of these hours, you may still be required for meetings or collaboration based on your role and customer needs. Additionally, we offer Protected Time - a flexible, one-hour slot, within the working week dedicated to your learning and development, wellbeing, or focused, quiet work
